I used to get called names - It hurt, as I was a very shy person. I have been on a yoyo diet all my young to adult life. It has taken me 6 years to come out the other side. It has been a tough road, now I want to help others like me. After I had my two children, I was very over weight. I had no self confidence and I hated myself the way I looked. I was wearing size 22-24 clothing and nearly 100kg. I decided to do something about it. I had a treadmill at home

I was an over weight kid at school. I was wearing size 22-24 clothing and nearly 100kg.

I decided to do something about it. I had a treadmill at home under the stairs. I began to walk on it 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night. I started loosing weight and I ate what I thought was right at the time. As weight started to come off, I was feeling happier, I wanted more, to tone up. I asked around and to join a group class that I felt comfortable in. As I found one I went 3 times a week. I kept on walking on the treadmill. My group trainer helped me alot as I started to be obsessed by the gym and with what I ate and what I looked like.

I learnt along the way, how to eat healthy and excercise, to keep my weight down and be happy within myself. As I was looking better and fitter, the females at the gym were very clicky. I felt like a fish out of water, so I quit the gym and started one-on-one with a personal trainer.

I enjoyed going to the gym everyday. I wanted to learn more and become a personal trainer. So I enrolled and gained my Cert III and Cert IV in Personal Training.

I still train with my personal trainer who has helped and given me plenty of advice.

This is my chance to help people out there to become a healthier and happier person in themselves.

Lisa xxx
